Visitors to St Andrews have a number of options when it comes to travelling to the town. Located on the east coast of Scotland within the Kingdom of Fife, St Andrews can be easily reached from a number of nearby cities via public transport, road and private transfers. If you choose to drive, there are a number of options for car parking:
- There is a free public car park (Petheram Bridge) to the East of the School – marked by 2 P’s next to number 19. No parking permit is needed for this car park.
- Following the road around North Haugh (i,e past building 17, 16, 11, 10) to the front of building 15 brings you to a University parking area, for which guest parking permits are available by arrangement
- If there are no spaces at either, there is an additional free car park at the Old Course Hotel, a short walk to the North (towards the top of the map)
